Daniel Arrebato
is a classically trained Pianist and keyboard player.
Originally from Cuba, he was a Music Director/Conductorof Classical
Orchestras and Choirs, writing, arranging and conducting many original
pieces of music that they performed. He was also the headmaster of
a music school of approximately 200-300 people.
Daniel came to the United States, 10 years ago. Greatful
for the opportunity to work and provide for his family, he found a
job in an automobile parts re-manufacturing plant for 6 years. During
that time he taught music, arranged and played keyboards for a small
accapella group in Philadelphia. The accapella band and piano expanded
about a year ago adding drums, bass, guitar and percussion They have
completed and mastered a group CD recording project.
In addition to writing and performing on the group project, Daniel
has also been working towards the completion of his own solo piano
recording (classical piano with jazz and latin influences).
Watching him perform (both solo as well as with the band) at concerts
and in the studio, is a pure joy. His performance capabilities are
spellbounding. One of my favorite stories is the engineer at Sigma
Recording Studios in Philadelphia listening to him during a recording
session remarked, "the guy plays and sounds like he has a three hands".
He is indeed a technical master and his soul and inspiration is evident
in his playing. He breaks new ground and redefines the way people
see the piano each time he plays, he is an innovator, knowing the
importance of space and not overplaying just because you can, but
conveying and communicating the passion, joy and love of what he does,
music for the Lord.
With all the above, he is even a more decent and wonderful human being.
he is a very humble and compassionate person, very Obedient to the
Lord's call for His life.
